... We know why. [also grumbling a little. their worlds!!! she shrugs, anyway, stretching her legs.] Maybe. I wouldn't be surprised if something happened to set them off.

...it's strange. We've heard a lot about the villain attack and the aftermath, but not really anything about before that. Like what might've lead to it, or if the villains were around before that. I was looking for old news articles or anything and I couldn't find anything.

[squelching]

[she slowly nods...]

It's mostly stuff about the weather. And it's really, really weird because something that big should have been popular with the news... Did someone expunge the records somehow?

[resumed]

I'm wondering that myself. There should still be current news on thse things since they didn't happen that long ago. So why the cover-up? Who would want to clear the slate so bad that every instance is gone?

[squelching]

... Snake said that "somebody important" gave the order for Mika's execution.

If they're powerful enough to give that order, then maybe they're powerful enough to get rid of every mention of what happened a month ago, too.

[resumed]

A complete memory wipe. [ that's not great. ] Or a blocker somehow that's all across the city to make people perceive things a certain way. We still don't know how all of us were forced to fall asleep that night. Maybe it's something similar.

[squelching]

[she slowly nods, frowning.]

Maybe. I think it's all connected somehow, anyway... But we need to figure out where to find more information.

It's the where that's been throwing me off, too. All of the usual places you'd think to look haven't turned up anything. And I don't know if it means those places are under construction or everything really was removed.
