[just gently pets her hair.]

I know. I kinda thought so too. I didn't really talk to her much until recently, after Reigen, and she... [a big sigh.] We can try to figure it out.

[... she just hopes she's not going to have to choose between whisper and the killer, here.]

[girl, mood. she is miserable and angry and also extremely terrified the killer will be someone she's attached to. this sucks.]

Mhmm... Are you going to talk to anyone else tonight? Whisper told me she used all her tokens to buy Wonderballs this week.

[so maybe... someone is cursed?]

... She told me a bit about her wisps. I wonder if she had any that she used.

... I'm not sure. I think her wispon wouldn't work without them, though, so we'll see. Maybe they counted as ammo.

[she isn't even thinking about janeway because unfortunately janeway accused reigen of murder last week which means that janeway deserved death. nimona's quiet for a bit, thinking, and then:]

Hey, I wanted to mention - um, something. You don't have to talk about it, especially not after today, but you should probably know.

[saya is only thinking about janeway in the context of how annoyed she's going to be when someone inevitably asks if she died for accusing reigen. terrible.

she tilts her head, looking at her.]

[god nimona too she's going to bite whoever says it.

So you know how we all switched powers earlier this week? [...] Reigen and I were hanging out and he turned into a sort of slime creature with tentacles.

[squelching]

[ah.

never mind, she is no longer looking at her.]

... He told me he had my power. I didn't know it happened while he was with you.

[sharkgirl]

Yeah. [she tucks saya's hair behind her ear.]

I'm not going to tell anybody. And I don't think differently of you, either. I think it would've been cooler if it'd been you. Reigen just made a really lame slime.

[squelching]

[she's quiet for a moment.

and then, tentatively:]

... Reigen isn't used to having a body like that. I could show you when we get our powers back.

[sharkgirl]

[a little half grin.]

[... pauses. and she nods.]

It's been a little while since I've been... me. Around somebody else. [a tiny smile here? like, hehe.] And I bet Reigen didn't figure out he could scale the walls.

[sharkgirl]

[that makes her laugh a little.]

No, he kind of just sloshed around lamely for an hour. [this is affectionate teasing.] He wasn't even scary.

I bet you're really cool though.

[she laughs a little, as one does when bullying reigen.]

I wish I could have seen him... It sounds funny. [...] Let's do something fun when we both get our powers back, okay?
