[they are at (throws dart) the arena! it's set to, like, soccer or something. which is fine.]

Do you know how to play?

[just. out of curiosity not out of any desire to actually play sports.]

[ the arena wao! jolyne just kind of... kicks up one of the balls into the air and keeps it up there by bouncing it with a knee. ]

Just the basics—like how you can't touch the ball with your hands, but you can touch it with any other part of your body. Feet, legs...

[ bounces it with her knee higher and then bounces it on her head once before catching it her hands. ] Head. Anything goes.

[ohhh, she watches her do this, super fascinated. jolyne... so cool...]

For someone who only knows the basics, you're really good at keeping the ball in the air.

Heh, I played a couple of games where the rules were just like that. Ball can't touch the ground, so... it's a habit probably.

You got any favorite games, Saya? Or should we try and find something you might like?

Mmm, if I had to pick? I prefer card games, any of 'em. Poker, Go Fish, UNO... those are a lot of fun and you don't need a whole field for them.

saya nods and fishes her phone out, going through her picture gallery for a second before holding it out for jolyne to see. like she said, the cards for all four members of snake team are pinned to a refrigerator door with a cute diy purple picture frame around them.]

We got Reigen's card first. And then Reigen traded with someone to get my card and Whisper's card, but we couldn't find Robin's card for a little while... [reasons she unfortunately thinks reigen is very cool.] Thanks again for helping us complete the set, Jolyne.

we went to this really big casino
even bigger than the one at the jade bamboo
there were a bunch of people who looked like hung there too
bunnies and polar bears
